Thank you so much to the many parishioners and community members who are already supporting our effort to help a Syrian refugee family to resettle in Cambridge.
Our project is supported by our Catholic Diocese which has worked for many years with the Canadian government to match refugees with parishes and individual sponsors. The Diocesan Refugee office keeps us posted, and as we come ever closer having the funds necessary to apply for our own family, it’s been exciting to hear of other parish communities that have recently been matched with refugee families — some from Syria, some from other parts of the world.
Garage Sale
On Saturday June 18th we’ll be hosting a giant garage sale in support of our fundraising for the refugee project.
