50th anniversary Mass – 11 am
Celebrant: Most Reverend Douglas Crosby, D.D., Bishop of Hamilton
50 years ago today the first Mass was celebrated within the boundaries of the new St. Gregory the Great Parish. While our parish church wouldn’t be completed until 1969, our community’s shared journey of faith began on this day. We are happy and honoured to mark this anniversary with a Mass celebrated by our Bishop, Douglas Crosby.
Every celebration of the Eucharist is a thanksgiving, and on this special day we give thanks to the Lord in for the gifts and graces conferred on our community over the years, and in particular for the gifts and talents our poured out on his behalf by the many parishioners, priests and religious brothers who have worshiped and served with our community through the years.

Outdoor BBQ & Picnic – 12:30 pm (approx.)
Rain or shine — tent will provide shade or shelter as needed
- an outdoor celebration BBQ with performances by the St Augustine choir, and cake provided by the Church
- games and prizes for the children with a bouncy castle,
- Parishioners asked to bring a dessert
- A donation to the self-help food bank would be appreciated.
